Design and science have often directed the focus in my life. I first encountered the web when I was studying for my Masters degree. It was quite a different animal then. Nothing fancy, but an intriguing tool. At the time I was working in an office with fax machines and overnight mail being our best options to reach existing and potential clients quickly. I became curious about how this whole world wide web thing would change the way business communicated and further the way the world communicated. Being the curious person I am, I investigated, and here I am.
My primary goal is helping small business and not-for-profit organizations communicate their message in an affordable and professional manner. I strive to communicate the workings of the web, web sites and marketing messages to clients in an understandable manner, breaking down the jargon and techno-speak into plain English.
More than twenty-five years ago I began my career as a designer, first with brochures, newsletters, flyers, promotional items, and workbooks, then branching into websites, corporate identities, e-mail marketing, stationery, advertisements, posters, post cards, signs, and PowerPoint presentations and more... for small business, national seminars, educational programs, conventions, events, private and public sector sales, political campaigns, non-profit organizations and not-for-profit organizations.
Small Business Marketing
Brought up in the world of growing small business and now working within it myself, I have a great appreciation for the hard work it takes to sustain a business and the many hats one wears any given day. Small businesses rarely have marketing departments or webmasters. I fulfill these roles for numerous businesses and organizations at affordable rates with reliable service. Whether you need a logo, stationery design and a website or just need someone to maintain your existing website or a quick design of a postcard, call or email me for an estimate.
